Fostering Hopes Foundation celebrated the 2026 International Women’s Day with students of Olona Mixed Secondary School, Onicha-Olona, Delta State, in a memorable outreach filled with learning, inspiration and gift-giving.
Speaking during the event, the Foundation’s Director of Community Engagement and Development, Comrade Patrick Ochei, highlighted the organisation’s commitment to child protection and development.
Guest speakers encouraged the students (especially the girls) to stay focused on their education, build meaningful careers and aspire to become successful leaders in society.
The session also addressed challenges facing the girl-child and emphasized discipline, confidence and positive choices as keys to achieving their dreams.
The outreach ended with the distribution of sanitary pads and soaps to students and teachers to promote hygiene.
